The summary results of the Infoday on Research PPPs that took place in the Charlemagne Building in Brussels last 9 July have been posted online. The Infoday focused specifically on Factories of the Future, Energy-efficient Buildings, Green Cars.

CREATE-NET, the European Alliance for Innovation (EAI) and the Autonomous Province of Trento, are organising the European Forum for Innovation (EFI) 2010. The Forum draft agenda includes a day dedicated to speeches from European Union officials, major industry representatives and EAI partners. The second half of the event will host Science for Innovation and Business and Technology (SIB) Councils workshops.

4th EAI Meeting
5 November 2009 – European Alliance for Innovation
The 4th EAI meeting took place in Budapest on Thursday 5th November. The event gathered 28 key organisations of the ICT sector to further discuss the setting up of the European Alliance for Innovation, aimed at tackling the currently fragmented European innovation landscape.
EAI have been granted office space in Budapest’s Infopark

The EAI has just received the good news that the Hungarian Minister for R&D has offered 150 sqm of office space in the Budapest Infopark area, co-located in the National Office for Research and Technology (NKTH).
3rd EAI Preparatory Meeting Outcome

COST Offices
The 3rd EAI Preparatory meeting took place on Friday 26th June 2009 in Brussels. The COST office kindly offered to host the event in their premises in the Louise Tower. Present at the meeting were representatives from CEPIS, COST, CREATE-NET, EIT, EMF, ETSI, EUREKA, ICST, Nanopolis and UTC.
2nd EAI Preparatory Meeting Outcome
The second preparatory meeting of the European Alliance for Innovation has taken place on April 27, 2009 at the CEPIS headquarters in Brussels, Belgium in the presence of 21 representatives from 16 European keyplayer organisations in the realm of ICT. The organisations around the table represented a broad scope of stakeholders from numerous areas of specialisation, such as Academia, Research, Industry and Regulatory bodies.
