The EAI Community

The EAI Community is the ensemble of the EAI individual supporters.

These professionals work for innovation within their own career curricula, through participation in associations, European platforms, organisations, or high-tech projects and companies.
Joining together forces in one Community means they can reach the critical mass of collective expertise needed to provide focused ‘bottom-up’ grassroots through leadership.

The EAI enables end-users to enter the decision-making process and speak their voice about what really matters to the citizens of Europe.

The EAI Community empowers the EAI to fulfill a significant strategic role in the European innovation cycle.

Fulfilling this role is what makes the EAI unique to Europe.

Is the EAI Community for me?

If you are an innovator in your field of expertise, then the answer is YES.

The EAI recognises that peer-to-peer communities contain an intrinsic potential for creating new ideas and implementing them, and thus makes such communities emerge, empowering people to collaborate.
The EAI Community pursues opportunities for knowledge sharing, cross-disciplinary networking, peer review, advocacy, standardisation and direct access to the innovation cycle.
The EAI Community comprises experts and professionals from all stages of the innovation cycle:

  • education and academics
  • research, public and private
  • science and technology
  • inventors
  • investors, public and private (business angels, venture capitalists)
  • entrepreneurs
  • executives from industry and corporations
  • patents and IPR specialists
  • policy makers and governments
  • standards institutions
  • marketing and sales
  • NGO’s, associations of citizens, non-profit organisations

The EAI Community is open to everybody independently of your origin. Non-Europeans that are interested in collaborating and networking with innovators in Europe are welcome to join the EAI Community.

The SIBs

The EAI helps Community members to organise themselves according to interest groups, called Science for Innovation, Business and Technology Councils (SIBs).
SIBs will serve as focused incubators, each representing a specific discipline.
SIBs operate with activities both online and in person, that culminate in the SIB Portals and SIB Summits.
